FREE WORKSHOPS!

SEPTEMBER 6 & 7

10am to noon

A series of workshops that cover monologues and music. An STC company member will work with you to hone your song or monologue so you can knock it out of the park at your next audition!

MONOLOGUE Workshop: Saturday, September 6th, 10am to noon.

Come with a 1-2 minute memorized monologue.

MUSIC Workshop: Sunday, September 7th, 10am to noon.

Bring 30-60 seconds of a song (please provide sheet music)

OPEN AUDITIONS!

SEPTEMBER 20 & 21

10am to 5:30pm

Here’s your chance to audition for a lot of local theatre companies—all at the same time!

A panel of casting representatives from Sierra Theatre Company, Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS), Lyric Rose, LeGacy Presents, Astonishing Theatre, and Truckee Community Theatre are excited to see new (and familiar!) local talent at our upcoming open auditions.

Monologue, music, and movement auditions.

Auditioners may participate in either the monologue session or music session, or both.

Movement session is optional, but highly recommended for consideration for musicals!

One night only on Friday, August 15, we’re happy to host a louder, faster, funnier, and definitely WEIRDER staged reading of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! Created and directed by the always entertaining T Wade, this hot-under-the-collar romp will serve Shakespeare the way he would have wanted it—sexy, silly, dark, and delightful.
